ABOUT THE HOST:

A visual artist, PhD in Art, curator, and lecturer, he serves as the chair of the Artificial Intelligence Committee at the Association of Polish Art Photographers. He is the author of scholarly and popular science texts on photography, as well as the artbook More Likely That We Are Not Exceptional. He has participated in over 100 photographic exhibitions and events.

He teaches at the Faculty of Architecture at Poznań University of Technology, where he leads the Photography Studio. His research interests focus on the semantics of photographic images and their relationship with space. He is also the author of the concept of Native Features of Photography.

In his creative work, he defines photography as always subjective—a recorded projection of a fragment of reality. Working at the intersection of understanding the medium, he creates syntheses of photography and photograms, projections, and photographic objects. His work explores themes of humanity’s place in relation to nature and the cosmos, drawing inspiration from cosmology and astrophysics.
