n this workshop, you will learn:
• how to enable long exposure mode on your camera,
• which camera functions to use and which to turn off,
• how to paint with light intentionally and predict the effects on your photos,
• what equipment to use to avoid spending money on unnecessary gadgets.

A specialist in Painting with Light will show you how they work with a model, the exact equipment they use to streamline their workflow, and will also share several secrets for creating photos of the highest possible quality straight out of the camera.

In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to create your own image using the Painting with Light technique, all under the guidance of a specialist who will advise you on how to do it most effectively.

The workshop will include a theoretical session and a short masterclass, followed by hands-on work with a model by the participants.

The Painting with Light technique allows you to achieve abstract effects directly in-camera, without the need for post-production or AI-generated effects.

Each participant will leave the workshop with striking light-painted shots captured directly on their camera’s sensor.

This will be a journey into the world of abstraction and highly creative photography, using color as a means of expression.

ABOUT ARTIST:

I specialize in creating images using Painting with Light, colored gels, and I have a deep passion for color. I use long exposure techniques to achieve abstract effects directly in-camera on RAW files. My photos are neither AI-generated nor have elements added in post-production beyond standard retouching.

I am also an ambassador for brands such as FOMEI, PeakDesign, and Ants on a Melon INC. I am a member of the Jura-based photography group, Jurassic Photo Team, and I’m fascinated by all kinds of colorful LED lights, light sabers, and similar tools—though I’m not a huge fan of movies with light sabers.

Painting with Light has accompanied me since the very beginning of my photographic journey. Although it is a rather demanding technique, I strive to find solutions in it where others see limitations.

I am one of the pioneers of Painting with Light in Poland.

You’ll learn how to create creative and abstract effects in your own photos in my workshops—looking forward to seeing you there!
