ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Michał “Misiek” Baranowski – known as Misiek on the street. A photographer passionate about street photography, documentary, and reportage. Co-founder of the street photography collective StreetWise Collective.
He photographs people and documents everyday life—the moments that no one else notices. Author of the exhibitions Ulica to Balet (“The Street is a Ballet”) and #ProjektPortret. Creator of a podcast where he discusses photographic topics with other photographers, not necessarily street photographers!
Paweł Świątek – father of three who found the perfect excuse to leave home through photography. A photography nerd compulsively collecting albums and cameras. It was street photography and new topography that opened his eyes to the beauty of this art.
On the street, he has gone through all stages of initiation: from sneaking around with a compact camera around the corner to boldly flashing a strobe in people’s faces. He tested it all so you wouldn’t have to. Although his heart lies in street and outdoor photography, he mainly achieves success in product photography.
You won’t find him on Instagram or Facebook. He publishes his photographic thoughts and digital photos (he’s too lazy, stingy, and impatient for analog) exclusively on Substack.
