EVGENIY VASIN (Russia)

He was born in 1949. Before he became a photojournalist, he served in the Soviet Army and then he finished Novosibirsk Electrotechnical Institute, graduating as an electrical engineer. He cooperated with well known regional newspapers as a photojournalist. He published two monographs: „Just Life” (1995) and „Street Encounters” (2003). After a successful period in the field of photography, Evgeny devoted himself fully to work as an engineer. He invented and patented a device which informs about approaching earthquakes. He lives and works in the South Russia.
